Defending Boyhood: How Men Help Their Sons to Be Men

Who? Any man, 13 and older who desires to grow and be shaped in what it means to be a man.

What? 4th Annual Lutheran Men's Retreat, where we can pray, learn, talk, and simply enjoy each other's company.

Where? Lutheran Retreat Center 475 Trail Rd., Herington, KS 67449

When? Fri. Sept. 18 - Sat. Sept. 19

Why? Because our families, churches, and culture need men to be men. And it seems best to pursue what that means together.


  • Registration is $35 per person
  • Bring your teen son(s) for an extra $15
  • Retreat Center is 1.5 hours from Wichita
  • Bring your own beer, wine, whiskey, pop
  • Time will be spent in worship, meal, guided discussion & casual conversation
  • If you've got a cot or sleeping bag, bring those, beds will be given in priority to those in need
  • Space is limited to 30 - please register soon!

Tony Esolen is an English prof at Thomas More College in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He's a staunch and prolific defender of Western Civilization, having translated Dante's Divine Comedy, written numerous books critiquing our current cultural moment, and speaking around the world.
